About the Teacher

At Piano Lessons Anywhere you are learning from a highly trained and experienced music teacher based in Sydney Australia.

 

The Principal and Teacher Annette Anderson is a qualified and experienced music teacher in schools and principal of Children's Music Academy, a successful, north west Sydney based music school running group programs for children.

 

Annette has a Bachelor of Music Education or B.Mus.Ed from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Diploma level Associate Of Music Australia or  A.Mus.A in Piano from the Australian Music Examinations Board.

 

Annette has more than 30 years of experience in preparing students for Piano and Theory examinations with the AMEB  (Australian Music Examinations Board) and is a past AMEB Theory examiner.

 

She has helped students gain results in AMEB, ABRSM, Trinity College, ANZCA and HSC exams.

 

Annette is also a Sydney Conservatorium Accredited teacher and NSW Department of Education Approved teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience in preschools, primary schools and high schools.

 

It is important to note that teacher qualifications and experience is of vital importance when considering a child's or adult's musical progress and motivation. There is a big difference between a formally trained and accredited music teacher, and a musician who has only completed a few AMEB exam grades!
